And I kinda like it. Also more nighttime photography because I guess that’s my shtick. Between cars and computers, maybe I’ll set aside money for an actual dslr one day, maybe. Also plates got in the mail few days ago, yay.

It does. I’m finally seeing more and more of these on the road and I quite like them. I know you like it a lot, but question: have you driven the previous Cruze? I really liked the previous one, but haven’t driven the current gen yet and would be interested to hear how they compare.

Too bad there’s no aggression under the hood. Now would be a good time to introduce a pocket rocket to compliment the camaro and fight the compact performance car wars, but GM be like, ‘Nah’.

I’ve driven both, the new one is great because it builds off of the old ones positives and resolves its negatives. The chassis feels great, nice and calm and stiff while the suspension tuning makes really comfortable but still responsive.
It’s the perfect commuter car right now, plus they’re dirt cheap now because they’re overstocked.

The manual ones are even cheaper, I think I got one of the higher packages for around the base model msrp

I’ll agree that it isn’t any hellcat or anything, but for a cheap dd, it’s definitely got a bit of kick.

Just following the trend of cars looking angrier by the year. I have to admit that I absolutely love the aggressive fascia on modern cars. Doubt we’ll ever see anything like this again though:
Nope, not any time soon

As much as I love aggressive cars, they have to be done right, and I don’t think the new miata pulls it off well. And I wouldn’t mind more cute cars, I think they are a little underappreciated.

I guess autonomous vehicles are going back to the cute look since we have to trust them and all:

I’m slightly more okay with autonomous vehicles while looking at that

GM could pull off a hell of Miata fighter. Between the Cruze’s 1.4L turbo, the GM 2.0L turbo for the SS model, and GM’s current focus on lightweight and stiff chassis, it would be a riot.
If you’re talking about a Cruze SS, I’m not holding my breath since they can’t seem to sell enough normal ones but damn I know they could do it right and put the other hot hatchbacks on notice.
